My pratical work

Design Inspiration

1)  Working - inspiration Andrea Branzi :

What I used in this project inspired creations of Andrea Branzi, is the contrast even wood is a natural material and the metal that it is a material created by humans.

However, I have reversed the way to work each material, natural material I used to create a geometric shape, while the material created by the human organic form.

I wanted to create a kind of Vanity. This skull is a kind of enhancement of death. I painted all in gray metalized to bring harmony between the wood of the cube and the curves of metal.

2)  Working - inspiration Eiffel Tower :

For this project, I was inspired by the construction of the Eiffel Tower. Indeed, the Eiffel Tower is an intersection of several rod, metal bar which creates a sort of pattern.

I put on the framework of regular interval screws, and from, I came with wire to create a geometric pattern, balanced.

Art Inspiration

1)  Working - inspiration Futurism :

For this project, I am mainly inspired me futurism. Both in the forms of "stinging" of the flower in saturated colors. I have not mixed the colors is the form that gives the impression of a gradient smoothly. I think that the final composition gives a visual balance appearance.

For this project, I was inspired by futurist work. I started with a rose drawing and I tried to transform the form of the rose on geometric forms volume and velocity. I did not focus myself on form. Instead of the use of paint like futurist artist, I chose to make collage to bring a visual aspect of relief. Result is less aggressive than futurist’s creation.

I prefer to create a visual balance through use of pastel colors. Even if triangles parts are not symmetrical, it leads to a kind of balanced in the composition, due to their orientation.

2)  Working - inspiration Caravagism :

For these two photos, I was inspired by the work of Caravaggism. I wanted to work in black and white to accentuate this effect of light / dark, I have more contrast photos to accentuate the shadows and lights. This provides visual balance to the photos:

Indeed, on the left picture, we can see a contrast between the geometry of the buildings, and the homogeneity of the sky. The diagonal created by the amount of building and down to go up boosts composition. Shadows and light on buildings, geometrises photo accentuating this equilibrium effect.

The picture on the right, the clear effect / obscur provides balanced with the visual strength of the own bollard. The landscape is clear, but take up much space on the composition, but the own bollard in the foreground and darker balance the composition. Furthermore, the verticality of the own bollard is balanced with the horizontality of the landscape, the sea, aligns perfectly with the own bollard, creates a dynamic in the composition.
